Position Details

Senior Salesforce Support Administrator

  • $98,396 to $119,052 (Plus Superannuation)
  • Fixed Term / until December 2022
  • Usual hours of work: Full Time (flexibility may be available)
  • Usual work location: 1 Spring Street (flexibility may be available)

The position of Senior Salesforce Support Administrator forms a part of the Information Services within Corporate Services. Information Services (IS) oversees the delivery of ICT-related investments and services to DJPR. IS engages with the organisation to ensure ICT systems and services are appropriately designed, governed, and delivered.

The Senior Salesforce Support Administrator role supports DJPR business units in their use of the Client Relationship Management system, Grants Management Systems and other applications on Salesforce Platform. This position provides technical and administrative support of the applications on Salesforce Platform; executes customisation services; and delivery to ensure the system aligns with and meets business requirements.

Reporting to the Applications Services Manager the main key accountabilities of the role include:

  • Lead and manage the 2 junior system administrators for the Salesforce.com environment with 2500+ users, and perform all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks, including formal case closure documentation
  • Lead the management, monitoring and resolution of the application case load and emails from user and action/resolve or escalate to external support teams. Coordinate and manage changes to the application in various environments (Development, Testing and Production) and conduct application maintenance work to scheduled plan to agreed service levels
  • Actively engage in agile ceremonies including planning, sizing and daily stand-ups for all administrative and development tasks including managing and monitor Salesforce.com data feeds and other integrations.
  • Lead in the prompt and complete resolution of business, technical and user issues and provide direction and proactive best practice Salesforce guidance to users and ensure continuing high data quality is achieved and maintained
  • Collaborate with business users, administrators and developers to perform requirements analysis and technical implementation strategies on the Salesforce Platform, including enhancements to existing and new applications.
