Position Details
About the opportunity
The Manager, Planning position is within the Land, Planning and Environment (LPE) team, reporting to the Senior Manager, Environment and Planning
LPE is a high-performing team responsible for obtaining key approvals, managing land and overseeing sustainability and environmental performance for the transport infrastructure of the project.
This is a key project role required to support development and delivery of the Initial and Early Works phase of the project. As the Manager, Planning, you will work independently, but supported by the Senior Manager, Environment and Planning, to secure complex planning and heritage approvals for the project's transport infrastructure.
To be successful in the role, you will need to be someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced, delivery focused environment. You will be a born problem solver with the ability to form positive working relationships with a diverse range of SRLA project teams, external stakeholders and technical advisors. A thorough knowledge and practical experience in securing approvals under the Planning and Environment Act 1987, as well as a strong understanding of all complementary approvals required to deliver major infrastructure projects, is a given – but a must.
