Program Support Coordinator

The Major Transport Infrastructure Authority (MTIA) is responsible for facilitating the development and delivery of the biggest transport infrastructure program in Victorian history. MTIA is established as an Administrative Office under the Public Administration Act 2004 as a specialist organisation, comprising skilled and experienced staff across the various professional disciplines involved in transport infrastructure project delivery. Led by the Director-General, it has five key groups: Level Crossing Removal Project, Major Road Projects Victoria, the North East Link Project, Rail Projects Victoria and the West Gate Tunnel Project. The Minister for Transport Infrastructure is the responsible Minister for the projects which are developed and delivered by MTIA.

About the opportunity

The Program Support Coordinator will be responsible for delivering a range of administrative tasks related the development and delivery of MTIA's program-wide health and safety management system, initiatives and programs. The responsibilities of this role will also include working closely with the Director, Strategic Safety and Director, Delivery Safety, and collaboratively with the ODG safety team, as well as engaging directly with relevant MTIA Project Office safety team representatives and external stakeholders as and when needed in relation to the planning and delivery of health and safety events, procurements, and meetings in a dynamic and complex work environment.
