The Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP) was established in 2015 to oversee the largest rail infrastructure project in Victoria's history, including the elimination of 75 dangerous and congested level crossings across Melbourne. To date, 29 level crossings have been removed, 18 train stations have been rebuilt, new track has been laid and eight level crossing removals are now in construction. About the role

As Project Manager you will provide expert, professional advice through the life cycle of the projects.  You will be a source of guidance and provide direction for a multidisciplinary team to drive the successful delivery of projects to time, scope, cost and quality.  You will be operating in a complex, high profile, fast-paced environment, ensuring best practice and compliance as you manage risk and monitor safety.  This is one of the biggest infrastructure projects in Victoria's history and you can play part in transforming the way your community live, work and travel every day. 

Who we want

We want project managers highly experienced within major construction, or engineering projects.  You need to have proven achievement in the delivery of projects to time, quality and budget, with a solid commercial understanding to provide advice and mitigate risk.  Dealing with varying stakeholders and leading multidisciplinary teams you need to have fine-tuned interpersonal skills that allow you to negotiate, influence and build positive relationships.
