Senior Property Officer

The position of Senior Property Officer forms a part of the Transport Property Division within the Transport Group.
The Transport group works with the Minister for Public Transport and the Minister for Roads and Ports, and a range of agencies including Public Transport Victoria and VicRoads, to develop transport policies which support our state’s growth. The group’s divisions cover a range of areas including transport planning, ports and freight, emergency preparedness, major project development and transport property.
The Senior Property Officer will have an active role in the delivery of a range of real estate property tasks for DEDJTR and Public Transport Victoria (PTV) across a range of projects including securing ownership of, and settlement of compensation for, properties needed, to contribute to the achievement of outcomes consistent with the Government’s social, economic and environmental objectives.
The role requires a person with a strong understanding of the Government’s property policies and practices and the relationship of rail-related real estate holdings with various Department infrastructure programs.
The successful applicant will work effectively as a member of a team, enjoy flexible working arrangements and undertake a wide variety of work across the division.
