Transport Safety Victoria (TSV) is Victoria's integrated safety regulator for bus, maritime & rail transport. TSV regulates the safety of all marine, train, tram & bus operations in Victoria, both directly, & through service arrangements with the Office of the National Rail Safety Regulator & the Australian Maritime Safety Authority. It is headed by the Director, Transport Safety.

Transport Safety Victoria (TSV) is a safety regulator responsible for ensuring safe passenger transport and boating for all Victorians. The Maritime Safety branch help save lives, reduce serious injuries and strive to ensure Victoria's waterways are the safest in Australia. 

Technical Services is a small team that provides technical and operational support to internal and external stakeholders, primarily on vessel and vessel equipment matters. We are looking for a team member who is agile and able to respond at short notice to issues as they arise. You must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

You will have experience in the marine industry as a designer, builder, engineer or operator as well as the ability to write technical reports for a range of audiences, engage in technical research and actively work with various stakeholders.  Experience in investigating technical and/or systemic matters is desirable.
