Position Details

Salesforce Administrator

  • $84,019 - $95,329 (Plus Superannuation)
  • Fixed Term – until 31 January 2021 
  • Usual hours of work: Full Time (flexibility may be available)
  • Usual work location: Ellinbank (flexibility may be available)

The position of Salesforce Administrator forms a part of the Resources Branch within the Rural & Regional Victoria Group.

The Resources Branch develops policy, programs and regulation to enable investment and generate jobs through the sustainable development of the State's earth resources, including extractives, minerals and petroleum.

The Rural and Regional Victoria Group works with councils, industry and businesses and primary produces to improve liveability and drive sustainable economic growth in rural and regional communities.

The main key accountabilities for the role include:

  • Perform all system administration tasks for the RRAM system, including but not limited to managing users, profiles and roles, customisation of objects, fields, record types, page layouts, security settings, workflows and validations.
  • Provide level 1 technical support to internal/external stakeholders and resolve the Salesforce Desk cases within the agreed SLA. Assist the BQMS team in troubleshooting the system issues, managing Conga templates, developing reports, and monitoring the geospatial, payment gateway, and Oracle financial integrations.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to review business processes and recommend system enhancements by understanding requirements and timeframes.
  • Collaborate with the Application Support team in understanding requirements and timeframes required for change requests raised in timely releases. Take ownership of the change request from inception to delivery, ensure that the solution meets the business needs and deployed into production environment with minimal risk.
  • Assist the BQMS team in the development and implementation of new RRAM (Salesforce) enhancements to support the business goals of Earth Resources Regulation. Identify areas of improvement, liaise with Earth Resources Regulation team members and gather short, medium and long-term requirements of the business unit.
