Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing

The Team:

The position of Senior Manager Strategic Sourcing forms a part of the Corporate Services Group and Investment & Procurement Branch.

The Investment and Procurement Branch provides strategic advice and professional services to the business and our Ministers, creating value by improving performance and sustainability across the DJPR portfolios in line with its objectives. 

 

The Role:

The Senior Manager Strategic Sourcing is responsible for leading a team of procurement specialists in providing expert procurement advice to business stakeholders and delivering end to end procurement of goods and services for the Department in the most efficient and cos-effective way. The role provides clear leadership and strategic direction by leveraging extensive procurement knowledge and industry experience. It plays a critical role in ensuring DJPR goods and services are procured at best value for money and in adherence to both Department and Victorian Government Purchasing Board's procurement principles.
