Position Details

Manager, Digital Economy Projects

  • Salary: $129,379 - $173,138 (Plus Superannuation)
  • Fixed term 2 years
  • Usual hours of work: Full time (flexibility may be available)
  • Usual work location: 121 Exhibition Street, Melbourne (flexibility may be available)

The Telecommunications and Digital Economy branch focusses on supporting Victoria's digital economy and seeking greater economic and social value from new and existing private and public digital infrastructure. We do this by supporting the development of Victoria's digital ecosystem and capabilities, the growth of the information and communications technology sector, and digitalisation across the wider economy.

We are looking for a talented and highly motivated individual who is enthusiastic about supporting a thriving tech sector and digital economy in Victoria. Reporting to the Director, Digital Economy, you will manage the effective delivery of key digital economy projects, including the Cremorne Digital Hub and the Australian Sports Innovation Centre of Excellence (ASICE). You will work in a collaborative team environment and work closely with stakeholders to maximise the benefits of government investments, including by facilitating value-adding partnerships, coordinating government engagement with project delivery partners, and supporting activation programming.

The position requires strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills and established industry experience and/or tech sector knowledge.
