Position Details

Manager, Organisational Development and Culture

  • $120,692 to $161,511 plus superannuation
  • Fixed Term (until end of March 2020)
  • Usual hours of work: Full Time (flexibility may be available)
  • Usual work location: 1 Spring Street Melbourne VIC 3000 (flexibility may be available)

The position of Manager, Organisational Development and Culture forms a part of the People and Culture branch of the Corporate Services group.

People and Culture (P&C) is a multi-disciplinary function providing strategic, tactical and operational HR support to the department's business groups by providing excellent service and trusted advice.  It has a clear focus on adding value to the department by supporting the Executive Board to drive DJPR organisational culture through a range of strategies and initiatives.

The purpose of this role is to lead and drive organisational initiatives that support the development of a high-performing organisation where people are empowered and supported to perform at their best.  It is responsible for the design, development and delivery of key organisational development and culture initiatives, contributing to the building of our people's capability to deliver on the government's agenda and the departments strategic outcomes. 

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate extensive experience and a record of significant achievement in delivering significant organisational development and cultural initiatives in a complex environment, including a track record of building strong business relationships internally with senior executives and demonstrated evidence of being able to strategically influence stakeholders at all levels.  Experience as a Practitioner in using and debriefing developmental psychometric tools and the ability to analyse engagement and climate survey results is required to be successful in this role.
