Position Details

Senior Manager, Cyber & Enabling Capabilities

  • Salary: $129,379 - $173,138 Plus Superannuation
  • 3 years Fixed term
  • Usual hours of work: Full time (flexibility may be available)
  • Usual work location: 121 Exhibition Street, Melbourne VIC (flexibility may be available)

The Telecommunications and Digital Economy branch focusses on supporting Victoria's digital economy and seeking greater economic and social value from new and existing private and public digital infrastructure. We do this by supporting the development of Victoria's digital ecosystem and capabilities, the growth of the information and communications technology sector, and digitalisation across the wider economy.

We are looking for a talented and highly motivated individual who is enthusiastic about supporting a thriving tech sector and digital economy in Victoria. Reporting to the Director, Digital Economy, you will lead a small team in a collaborative environment to provide policy advice and deliver industry development projects which support Victoria's tech sector and broader digital economy. You will engage across government, industry and universities to develop and facilitate a pipeline of industry development projects and support their effective implementation. This role leads on range of initiatives, including delivery of activities which support Mission 3 of Victoria's Cyber Strategy ‘a vibrant cyber sector'.

The position requires established industry experience and/or tech sector knowledge, strong stakeholder management skills, highly developed analytical skills and flexibility to respond to an evolving industry environment.
