The Senior Reporting Manager will work closely with the Director and other stakeholders across the Employment Outcomes Branch, to manage and undertake reporting and analytics for programs and initatives that address critical issues and opportunities relating to whole of government employment policy and programs.

The key accountabilities are:

  • Develop and deliver strategic and financial reporting and analytics critical for performance measurement for Jobs Victoria programs and initiatives that drive employment outcomes across the Victorian economy.
  • Collaborate and maintain highly effective working relationships across Branch teams, sectors, divisions, portfolios, government and other stakeholders to strategically connect programs and initiatives that support Victorian economic development.
  • Coordinate and undertake research to identify emerging issues and support the strategic reporting and analytics critical for performance measurement for employment programs and initiatives for the Branch in relation to Jobs Victoria priority areas and their impact on the Victorian economy.
  • Actively drive a continuous improvement approach to reporting, processes and systems across the Division for high quality outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Strong experience in reporting and analytics, and performance reporting related to program management.
  • Highly developed research, conceptual and analytical ability demonstrated by the successful resolution of complex and highly sensitive issues.
  • Highly developed consultative, communication and interpersonal skills, including demonstrated experience in preparing complex briefings, papers or reports within tight timelines and the ability to undertake complex negotiations.
