Position Details

About the role

We have three new exciting Fixed Term Contract positions of either Senior Engineers/Engineers for twelve months, performing complex operational and/or project activities within service management and project frameworks, governance, standards, guidelines, policies and standards, to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction abd ensure service levels are met or exceeded.

Your Key Accountabilities will include and will not be limited to:

  1. Provide personable, professional and customer focused technical services, administration, monitoring, maintenance, support, advice and knowledge for provisioning of one or more technologies
  2. Assist with and lead planning, preparation and implementation of complex technical activities
  3. Extract, analyse and interpret data to collate and prepare advanced reports in support of decision making, and project delivery
  4. Resolve, collaborate on and escalate issues as appropriate to senior team members, Team Lead, or other technical teams, and provide appropriate and timely information and updates to stakeholders regarding progress
  5. Apply new concepts, and ideas to achieve innovative, efficient and effective delivery of specialist engineering operational and project services
  6. As a subject matter expert, participate in operational strategic planning and decision-making processes
  7. Participate in and lead continuous improvement activities, including development of technical and process documents
  8. Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to other members of the team
  9. Share knowledge and maintain understanding of applicable technologies by seeking out and participating in professional development programs and activities, including cross-skilling and formal training, and develop written documentation and/or presentations within the group
  10. Be part of an on-call roster to provide 24x7x365 support to all Cenitex customers
  11. Be part of a roster that performs mandatory hardware / firmware upgrades after hours 

Senior Engineer (Specific accountabilities): 

  1. Undertake technical investigations to resolve complex and specialised technical issues. 
  2. Undertake technical implementation of complex and specialised projects or initiatives. 

Engineer (Specific accountabilities): 

  1. Provide basic and complex level technical support to customers via multiple channels (including but not limited to telephone, email, instant messaging and face to face) to resolve assigned incidents and service requests.
  2. Lead and undertake complex technical implementation of initiatives and projects under limited direction.

About you

You will be a driven, self-motivated Network Engineer, bringing demonstrable experience and ability to work through multiple Cisco technologies. Details on skills set in the attached Key Selection Criteria.
