The position of Senior Adviser Partner Communications and Marketing forms a part of the Jobs Victoria within the Employment and Inclusion group.

The Senior Marketing and Communications Adviser delivers innovative, high-quality and effective communications, media, marketing and stakeholder engagement services for the department's Jobs Victoria portfolio, to support the achievement of government priorities and the department's objectives. The role is designed to work in collaboration with Job Victoria partners to maximise awareness of Jobs Victoria services and initiatives, and support partners to positively build and promote the Jobs Victoria brand.

The key accountabilities of the role are:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality marketing and strategic communications for Jobs Victoria, including strategy development, cooperative marketing with partners, and media relations.
  • Collaborate with partners to identify and support the implementation of opportunities that raise awareness of Jobs Victoria services and initiatives.
  • Create communications alliances and manage communication relationships with Jobs Victoria partners and key stakeholders  – empowering them to positively promote the Jobs Victoria brand, services and initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the department
