The Team

The position of Senior Salesforce Developer forms a part of the Information Services branch within the Corporate Services group.

Corporate Services Group

Corporate Services actively supports Ministers and DJPR portfolio groups to create conditions for sustainable economic development and employment growth.

The Group works collaboratively to deliver integrated and operational functions across the department, leading the development of governance, people, culture, systems, and capability.

Information Services Branch

Information Services (IS) oversees the delivery of ICT-related investments and services to DJPR. IS engages with the organisation to ensure ICT systems and services are appropriately designed, governed, and delivered. is the Branch offers a range of end-user focused systems and services to the organisation both directly and through third-party providers, and provides governance and assurance for systems and services delivered by other groups and agencies within.

The Role

Reporting to the Technical Lead, Salesforce Development, the Senior Salesforce Salesforce Developer will deliver enhancements in an Agile environment across the department's multiple Salesforce instances. The Salesforce Developer is responsible for leading Salesforce technical development and solution design, integrations with other platforms, delivery and release management. The role leads and provides strategy recommendations for Salesforce development, including technology approaches, security, apps and third-party tools that deliver best practice outcomes.

This role requires current Salesforce certification and Trailhead badges with strong demonstrated experience in Salesforce development, including configuration and customisation. The role is part of a multidisciplinary team of business analysts, support staff and Salesforce developers. The team is responsible for supporting the department's multiple Salesforce instances and approximately 2500 users.
