Director - Financial Projects & Risk
- Lead and manage a team dedicated to supporting investment attraction into Victoria
- Lead the delivery of comprehensive financial risk assessments of investment projects
- Senior Executive Service Level 1 (SES-1), Fixed Term up to Five (5) Years
The Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions (DJSIR) is seeking to appoint a Director, Financial Projects and Risk to join its team. This role is responsible for leading a team focused on supporting investment attraction into Victoria through a number of services to the broader group including financial risk assessments of investment projects and monitoring of the risk profile of groups investment portfolio.
The Industry, Trade and Investment Services branch provides a broad range support services to the broader Industry, Trade and Investment group which support the delivery of trade, investment and industry development activities and the Director, Financial Projects and Risk has a significant role as a member of its senior leadership team.
Reporting to the Executive Director Industry, Trade and Investment Services, the Director, Financial Projects and Risk will lead the implementation of debt and equity programs whilst ensuring high performance and professional development.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated success in leading teams to implement and manage financial support initiatives and in-depth knowledge and experience in leading teams to assess the feasibility of significant housing and commercial construction projects.
