Marketing and Stakeholder Manager

  • Salary: $138,631 - $185,519 (Plus Superannuation)
  • Ongoing role, full time (flexibility may be available)
  • Usual work location: 121 Exhibition Street, Melbourne (flexibility may be available)

The Role

Reporting to the Director of Communications, Media and Marketing, the Marketing and Stakeholder Manager is responsible for developing and driving earned, owned and paid communications and marketing activity to promote initiatives in the skills and training sector.

The role requires significant communications and marketing experience, with the ability to keep abreast of marketing trends and identify new opportunities to maximise reach and engagement with audiences in collaboration across the Strategic Communications Branch, the Department, its agencies and entities, and other government departments.

The role is responsible for managing the development, implementation and evaluation of a range of communications and marketing strategies, behavioural change campaigns and stakeholder engagement across a complex network of stakeholders in the training and skills sector.

The Team

The position of Marketing and Stakeholder Manager forms a part of the Strategic Communications branch within the Corporate Services group.

The group works to build a safe, high-performing organisation where the department's people are supported to perform at their best. The group does this by providing strategic, operational and program delivery support services in creative and innovative ways.

Strategic Communications is focused on building our department's reputation and delivering on the DJSIR purpose by raising the profile of our key initiatives, investments and programs. 

About You

To be successful in this position, individuals will have a communications and marketing background, with significant experience delivering government marketing campaigns, as well as outstanding people and stakeholder management skills and a strong management track record in achieving business outcomes.
