- Salary: $95,102 - $107,905 (plus superannuation)

The Role
This Senior Officer First Peoples will work across First Peoples grants management and program delivery across Creative Victoria, in collaboration with the First Peoples Team and community partnership group, the First Peoples Direction Circle. They will provide administration support for current and future initiatives that foster strong First Peoples creative industries in Victoria.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Managing First Peoples funding stream and cultural protocol review processes, contract management and administration.
- Maintaining meaningful relationships with First Peoples organisations and community members.
- Delivering workshops and information sessions for First Peoples creatives, and supporting community consultation.
The Team
The position of Senior Officer First Peoples, Creative Industries Development forms a part of the Creative Industries branch and sits within the Creative Victoria group.
The Creative Industries branch delivers a range of strategic initiatives designed in partnership with industry to drive increased industry and market stability and development and international outreach.
Creative Victoria is the State Government body dedicated to supporting, championing and growing Victoria's creative industries - arts, culture, screen and design. Creative Victoria has responsibility for the state-owned arts and cultural agencies and reports to the Minister for Creative Industries.
About You
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate high level interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to support and understand the cultural practices of Victorian First Peoples creative practitioners. They will also have experience in administration of grants programs, and the ability to provide strategic advice on funding for the independent creative sector, to both internal and external stakeholders.
Strong organisational, communication, relationship building, budget management and IT skills are required in this role, alongside the ability to work independently in a complex environment and as part of a team.
