About Us

The Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission has an exciting fixed term opportunity to join a dedicated Business Services Team. The Commission works with individuals and organisations to achieve our vision of a community where every person values, understands and respects human rights and equal opportunity. The Business Services Branch maximises the Commission's ability to achieve its strategic objectives through supporting and enabling a professional, engaged and high performing workforce and culture.

About the Role

We are looking for someone who can work in a small team to provide accurate, timely and relevant HR and Finance information to support Managers and staff achieve their strategic directions. Reporting to the Senior Adviser, People and Culture you will be given opportunities to work on a variety of tasks to keep you engaged and motivated. If this sounds like the opportunity for you we strongly encourage you to apply. This role is a part time fixed term role of ideally 3 - 4 days per week, although this is very flexible.

About You

As our ideal candidate, you will have:

  • demonstrated experience in the provision of a range of Human Resources and Finance support functions or the ability to quickly acquire
  • strong communication skills
  • excellent interpersonal skills and a can do attitude
