About us

Our regional service network is made up of four areas with three of those areas divided into two regions each. The role of the Regional Service Network (RSN) is to work in collaboration with program areas and communities to deliver justice services that are efficient, effective and integrated around community and client needs.

The North West Metropolitan Area (Area) accounts for approximately 1300 staff across 13 sites. These sites are located in either the North or West of the Area and deliver a range of services including: custodial services at prisons, Community Correctional Services (CCS), Sheriff's Operations, Consumer Affairs, front of house enquiries (including Births, Deaths and Marriages applications) and management of community services (including victims' support across the area).

Community Correctional Services (CCS) is a state-wide service providing for the management of offenders on court orders, serious sex offenders on post sentence supervision and prisoners on parole.

About the role

The CCS Business Support Officer is an entry-level position to a career in corporate services. This role involves supporting service delivery across the Area.

As the CCS Business Support Officer, you will:

  • provide administrative support to the CCS management team
  • assist in the delivery of services that help offenders break the cycle of offending
  • ensure court and parole order conditions are met
  • perform a range of other administrative tasks for the CCS General Manager.

There are 2 ongoing positions available, one in Werribee and the other in Broadmeadows.

The role will require travel to various locations across the Area.

About you

As the successful candidate, you will have:

  • a current Victorian driver's licence
  • well-developed computer literacy
  • excellent stakeholder management skills
  • have ability to problem solve and multitask.

Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, procedures, guidelines and regulations is desired.
