At the VBA, we are breaking new ground with the Cladding Audit and Rectification Project, having been recently appointed to 43 rectification sites across Melbourne. Due to this exciting announcement, we are looking for people minded Client Liaison team members to work through this process with all relevant stakeholders.

The Role

You will be taking a hands on approach to working with your own client portfolio to ensure that all parties are aware of the regulations, their responsibilities under the code and work through the undertakings of rectification. You will handle escalated queries that require senior assistance, and provide workflow updates and raise concerns with senior management.

Your unique ability to understand and digest technical information, to communicate to non-technical stakeholders will be your ultimate success in this position.

Essential Criteria

  • Tertiary qualifications in Science, Engineering, Town Planning, Building/Construction, Psychology, Sociology or similar is preferred.
  • Further qualifications in customer service, government or building will be highly regarded
  • Practical  experience within the building or construction or public sector will be highly regarded
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Stakeholder Management/Client Liaison skills are essential
