About the role
The Manager – Facilities leads the planning, management and delivery of Parks Victoria's facilities services, ensuring all corporate and operational workplaces are safe, functional and fit for purpose.
This role oversees staff accommodation, including maintenance, relocations, refurbishments, and front-of-house services. It is responsible for developing and implementing facilities management strategies and policies aligned with organisational objectives, while ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.
This role works closely with the Director – Finance and Business Services, internal stakeholders, and external service providers to deliver high-quality, cost-effective facilities management outcomes and continuous improvement in workplace environments.
We're looking for someone with:
- Extensive experience in facilities or property management within a large or complex organisation
- Demonstrated experience managing maintenance programs, relocations, and fit-outs for multi-site or public-sector workplaces
- Sound understanding of facilities management principles, including building services, maintenance, safety and compliance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders and service providers
- Ability to develop and implement operational plans and procedures to support efficient facilities management

The Corporate Services Division leads the delivery of key enabling functions to support the place-based management and operations in parks, reserves, including designated local ports and waterways within Parks Victoria's diverse estate.
