Integrity Officer
- Salary: $97,955 - $111,142 (Plus superannuation)
- Ongoing position
- Usual hours of work: Full time (flexibility may be available)

The Role
We are seeking an Integrity Officer to support the Integrity Services Unit (ISU) to administer the department's Integrity Framework. The role contributes to and supports a wide range of integrity-based projects and initiatives, including policy-based compliance activities and advice and ISU's change, communications and training functions.
Main accountabilities:
- Contributing to maintenance and enhancement of the department's integrity policies, procedures, standards, guidelines and other resources aimed at strengthening integrity and preventing maladministration, misconduct, fraud and corruption.
- Undertaking a range of project and other support services for the Integrity Services Unit, including monitoring compliance obligations in respect of conflicts of interests, gifts, benefits and hospitality, and declarations of private interests.
- Developing and coordinating change, communications and training initiatives that address the department's integrity priorities.
- Coordinating the department's child safety functions, including providing policy advice to internal stakeholders, engaging with and attending inter-departmental working groups, and facilitating child safety reporting requirements.
The Team
This position of Integrity Officer forms a part of the Integrity Services Unit branch, in the Corporate Services group. The Corporate Services Group consists of specialist functions including strategic communications, finance, investment and procurement, performance and governance, legal and legislation, people and culture, information technology and workplace services. These functions enable the department to operate efficiently and effectively and support the Secretary and Ministers to meet legislative obligations and responsibilities to create the conditions for growing Victoria's prosperity, building the productive capacity of our economy, and increasing participation.
About You
To be successful in this role, you would have the following main skills and experience:
- Influence and negotiation: Adapts the content, style, message or tone of presentations and other verbal communications to suit the audience and plans how to tackle objections; sells ideas by linking them to others' values, needs and goals; negotiates and implements a well-planned course of action to achieve a specific impact.
- Written Communication: Prepares briefs, letters, emails and reports using clear, concise and grammatically correct language; ensures written communications contain necessary information to achieve their purpose, uses appropriate style and formats.
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships, taking concrete steps to add value, monitor stakeholder satisfaction, and constructively deal with stakeholder issues.
- Detail Focus: Observes fine details; identifies gaps in information; looks for logical sequences of information; highlights practical considerations of plans and activities.
