About the role

The successful candidate will report to the Grand Prix and Sports Manager and provide on ground works in sports turf and irrigation management. You will be expected to be competent in basic turf management practices and be ready to cross over office admin and on ground works.

 We're looking for someone with:

  • Relevant qualifications and skills for the on-ground management of the Parks Victoria estate, such as certificate or Diploma in Turf Management and/or Natural Resource Management and/or equivalent experience in a similar field.
  • Demonstrated practical skills and experience in the maintenance and operation of large broad acre maintenance machinery, small equipment and tools for turf maintenance.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering routine and moderately complex on-ground services and projects under general supervision and as part of a team to achieve agreed outcomes.
  • A current Victorian driver's license, Medium Rigid endorsement is advantageous.
