Position Details

Our Operational Capability division now welcomes applications from suitably experienced people for the role of Learning Support Officer. This is a permant, part time opportunity (15.2 hours per week flexible) and is a job share arragement located at our Wendouree Business Centre.


About the role

Reporting to the Manager Community & Responder Programs, the responsibilities of this position will include, (but are not limited to):

  • Oversee the delivery of internal and external training courses, ensuring that certified courses are delivered by qualified trainers, and adhere to the RTO Compliance & Delivery Framework.
  • Prepare and submit reports for Manager Community and Responder Programs
  • Plan and prepare training as required
  • Provide advice and support to both trainers and students as required.
  • Provide administrative support to vocational programs areas as required


About you

To be successful in this position you will have relevant experience within a training or vocational environment as well as a strong administrative support focus. Knowledge of Student Management Systems ideally VETtrak is highly desirable. You will be known for your high attention to detail, being an exceptional communicator (both written and verbal) and having the ability to multi-task, will ensure success in this role.

You are a self-starter who doesn't mind a busy and constantly evolving environment and can deal with complex issues as they arise. You will have a ‘Quality Assurance' approach to your work and appreciate the importance of providing high standards in your delivery.
