The position of Senior Project Officer, Review and Evaluation forms a part of the Strategy and Priority Projects Branch and Design and Evaluation Unit. Be part of a growing evaluation and design team, working together to maximise the impact of our work.  This is an opportunity to build a deep understanding of Victoria's creative industries, tourism and visitor economy, business dynamics, investment and trade, agriculture, and urban and regional economies.

As a Senior Project Officer, you will have the opportunity to lead and contribute to a range of evaluations across the Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions. You will provide advice, undertake project planning and deliver capacity building activities to support evaluation practice across the department.  You will work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team who are passionate about delivering quality work and driving positive change.

The main key accountabilities of the role are:

  • Provide technical leadership and work in specialist project teams
  • Analyse data, collate evidence, and conduct stakeholder interviews
  • Lead the production of concise, high quality and compelling reports, briefs and submissions
  • Initiate, manage and maintain close and effective stakeholder relationships
