About the role
As a key member of the Area leadership team, you will oversee a team of rangers responsible for delivering on-ground park management services across this iconic landscape. This includes leading the planning and delivery of asset and infrastructure programs, conservation activities, and visitor experience initiatives. You will play a critical role in coordinating work programs, managing resources and contractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. The role also involves working closely with Traditional Owners, stakeholders and community partners to deliver positive environmental and visitor outcomes.

We're looking for someone with:
- Relevant qualifications and skills for the management of the Parks Victoria estate, such as environmental science, natural resource management, conservation and land management, outdoor education, community engagement, or a relevant trade.
- Demonstrated experience and a record of achievement working as a Ranger or in an equivalent natural resource management role, with proven ability to supervise staff and deliver complex on-ground services and projects.
- Ability to give clear direction, provide constructive feedback, and motivate staff delivering works under your supervision.
