About the role and your responsibilities:  

Working collaboratively across teams, the Administration Officer ensures timely and reliable support for meetings, travel, reporting, and correspondence. The role upholds high standards of administrative practice, supports compliance with organisational policies, and contributes to effective communication and workflow management.

This position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. The Administration Officer plays a key role in supporting team efficiency, maintaining confidentiality, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement aligned with Parks Victoria's values.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Demonstrated experience in delivering administrative support, ideally in public land, conservation or natural resource management
  • Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in administrative work
  • Knowledge of administrative tasks, in particular in a government context
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, coordinate tasks and support team members in achieving operational goals
