About the role

You will provide leadership and coordination for the design, planning and delivery of organisational change processes within Parks Victoria. The role will work across the organisation, with staff and senior executives to drive transformative business improvement and support Parks Victoria to deliver its core land and conservation management functions.

We are seeking a dedicated professional with the ability to work collaboratively with senior executives, leaders, and staff at all levels. As the Change Manager you will be responsible for developing and executing fit-for-purpose change strategies, communication and engagement plans, alongisde cultural alignment initiatives. You will be a trusted subject matter expect who provides contemporary guidance to staff and ensuring change is embedded effectively in supporting people through transition, building organisational readiness, and fostering a shared understanding of new ways of working.

The role is critical to the success of Parks Victoria, as the organisation undergoes significant transformation, getting ‘back to basics' to improve its performance in ensuring Victoria's diverse network of parks and reserves remain accessible for all visitors to enjoy, while protecting natural and cultural values.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Demonstrated experience delivering transformative change in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment, preferably in public sector
  • Extensive knowledge of organisational change, and an ability to build and engage a high performing, capable and customer focussed workforce
  • Proven ability to initiate, sustain and leverage strategic relationships internally and externally over extended periods of time
  • Experienced in establishing organisational frameworks, systems, processes and capabilities to support strategy aligned performance excellence
