Position Details

Manager, Regional Coordination – Hume

  • Salary: $134,593 - $180,115 (Plus Superannuation)
  • Ongoing role, full time (flexibility may be available)
  • Usual work location: Shepparton, Wangaratta, or Wodonga (flexibility may be available)

The Role

Reporting to the Regional Director, the Manager, Regional Coordination is a member of the Leadership team and will utilise their management and leadership expertise to foster an inclusive and collaborative culture and bring a strong focus to safety and wellbeing within the regional team and across Regional Development Victoria (RDV). Managing a multi-disciplinary team, the Manager, Regional Coordination will deliver a dynamic program of work including providing strategic advice to the Regional Director and senior stakeholders on regional plans and briefings, leading regional economic recovery planning and preparedness, as well as developing and leading priority economic and community development projects across the region.

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing and overseeing the planning, implementation and delivery of a range of economic development, business and industry activities.
  • Providing advisory, coordination and leadership support to the Office of the Deputy Secretary and Office of the Executive Director, Regions.
  • Leading the development, review and delivery of concise and compelling reports, briefs and submissions.

The Team

The position of Manager, Regional Coordination - Hume forms a part of the RDV with the Regional Development and Outdoor Recreation Group.

Regional Development Victoria (RDV) is the Victorian Government's lead agency in developing rural and regional Victoria. With a focus on facilitating stronger communities utilising an evidence-based approach RDV acts as a partner and investor to provide rural and regional Victoria with better infrastructure, facilities, and services; strengthen the economic and social base of communities; create jobs and improve career opportunities for regional Victorians; and support local project development and planning

About You

As the successful candidate, you will have:

  • Proven experience in providing high level authoritative advice on complex and sensitive issues.
  • Excellent project management capabilities.
  • The capacity to deal with concepts and complexity comfortably.
