Oracle Fusion Applications Lead
- Salary: $142,790 - $191,084 (Plus Superannuation)
- Work Type: Ongoing role
- Usual hours of work: Full time (flexibility may be available)

The Role
The Oracle Fusion Lead is the department's senior subject matter expert for Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), providing strategic, functional and technical leadership for DJSIR's finance and procurement systems.
Main accountabilities:
- Oracle ERP Cloud Leadership and Strategy: Provide strategic, functional and technical leadership for Oracle Fusion ERP Finance and Procurement solutions, ensuring the platform remains aligned with departmental priorities, Victorian Government requirements and emerging Oracle Cloud capabilities.
- Solution Design, Enhancement and Support: Lead the analysis, design, configuration, testing and implementation of Oracle ERP enhancements, defect resolutions and support activities, ensuring solutions meet business requirements and deliver measurable value.
- Business Partnership and Advisory Services: Partner with Finance, Procurement and other stakeholders to understand business requirements, provide expert advice and translate complex operational needs into practical Oracle ERP solutions.
The Team
The position of Oracle Fusion Applications Lead forms a part of the Information Technology and Workplace Services branch within the Corporate Services group.
The Corporate Services group consists of specialist functions including strategic communications, finance, investment and procurement, performance and governance, legal and legislation, people and culture, information technology and workplace services and emergency management. Information Technology and Workplace Services (IT&WS) oversees the delivery of ICT and office accommodation-related investments and services to DJSIR.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:
- Specialist Oracle ERP Cloud Expertise: Demonstrated extensive experience supporting, configuring and enhancing Oracle Fusion ERP Finance and Procurement solutions.
- Specialist Finance and Procurement Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of finance and procurement operations, financial management, budgeting principles, chart of accounts structures and governance requirements, preferably within a Victorian Government or public sector environment.
- Functional and Technical Capability: Demonstrated ability to analyse business requirements and design effective solutions through Oracle ERP Cloud configurations, extensions, reporting, security design, data management and technical troubleshooting, and to provide input into related integration design.
