Manager, Integrity Services
- Salary: $124,888 – $136,747 plus superannuation
- Ongoing
- Usual Hours of Work: Full time (flexibility may be available)

The Role
Reporting to the Manager, Integrity Services, the Senior Investigator provides expert specialist advice on integrity matters and leads the assessment and investigation of complex and sensitive integrity issues across the department and its portfolio entities.
This role plays a critical part in promoting integrity, preventing fraud and corruption, and supporting ethical decision-making through high-quality investigations, authoritative advice and engagement with external oversight bodies. The role is well suited to an experienced investigator who is self-motivated, adaptable and committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity in the public sector.
Main accountabilities:
- Assess complex integrity matters and make timely, well-reasoned recommendations, including exercising responsibilities under the Public Interest Disclosure Act 2012 as a Deputy Public Interest Disclosure Coordinator.
- Lead and oversee investigations into alleged integrity issues, fraud or corruption conducted or commissioned by the department.
- Prepare high-level reports, briefings and documentation that consider all relevant evidence, legislation, policies and circumstances.
- Liaise with external oversight bodies, including IBAC, the Victorian Ombudsman and Victoria Police, as required.
The Team
The Senior Investigator forms part of the The Office of the Deputy Secretary (ODS) within the Corporate Services Group.
The Corporate Services Group delivers specialist support functions that enable the department to operate efficiently and effectively, supporting the Secretary, Ministers and portfolio groups to meet legislative obligations and organisational priorities. The group is focused on building a safe, high-performing organisation where people are supported to perform at their best.
About You
- You bring significant experience undertaking fraud and corruption investigations or comparable integrity-focused work, supported by exceptional written communication skills and the ability to clearly convey complex information.
- You have demonstrated experience developing and applying policies and guidelines to resolve complex or novel issues and are confident providing accurate, influential advice to senior stakeholders in sensitive and high-risk environments.
