Position Details

Property Manager, Assets and Capital Delivery

  • Salary: $113,022 - $136,747 (Plus Superannuation)
  • Ongoing, full-time role (flexibility may be available)
  • Usual work location: 121 Exhibition Street, Melbourne CBD (flexibility may be available) 

The Role

Reporting to the Manager, Agencies and Infrastructure, the Project Manager, Assets and Capital Delivery will lead and manage the operational planning, capital works program, maintenance and administration of Creative Victoria's physical assets—ensuring compliance, effective lifecycle management, and alignment with financial and operational goals. 

This role will also drive strategic planning for the asset portfolio to ensure assets are accessible, well-maintained, and reflect community, heritage, and organisational values. You will also work with Creative Victoria's First Peoples team to support self-determined engagement and help embed First Peoples perspectives in the work of Creative Victoria. 

Main accountabilities:

  • Contributes to strategic business planning Interprets and applies business plans and policies in own area of responsibility and provides advice to others on implementation issues.
  • Initiates and maintains relationships with peer and senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provides leadership in the adaptation and application of concepts to operational matters within local work area.
  • Develops service plans and delivery standards for the area of responsibility. 

The Team

The position of Property Manager, Strategy and Systems forms a part of the Policy and Delivery branch within the Creative Victoria group.

About You

You will have the ability to adapt to systems and processes quickly, with changing priorities and situations. You will use your collaborative skills to identify and overcome barries of knowledge sharing while also identifying opportunities to work with other teams collaboratively. Use your project delivery experience in governance (e.g. success measures; roles and responsibilities; progress monitoring) required to manage risks and maximise success.
