- Salary: $97,955 - $111,142 (Plus Superannuation)
- 2 x Ongoing positions
- Usual hours of work: Full time (flexibility may be available)
- Usual work location: 121 Exhibition Street, Melbourne VIC 3000 (flexibility may be available)
The Role
We're seeking 2 x Project Officers with exceptional interpersonal and communication and strong relationships with stakeholders across various levels to support the delivery of key projects. The successful applicants will effectively influence outcomes by tailoring your communication style to meet the needs of diverse audiences.
Main accountabilities:
- Prepares reports, briefs and correspondence on complex issues that impact at program or organisational level.
- Prepares project scopes and briefs within broad parameters.
- Drafts reports and recommendations by interpreting and analysing data.
- Determines operational service delivery plans based on accepted standards.
- Contributes expertise to a team working on complex projects.
- Negotiates and manages straight forward, corporate contracts and service agreements.
The Team
This position of Project Officer forms a part of the ACFE, Pathways and Workforce branch, in the Skills and TAFE (S&T) group. Skills and TAFE (S&T) focuses on enabling Victorians to access the knowledge, skills and attributes they need to participate in today's workforce, prepare for future jobs, and achieve their educational aspirations.
The ACFE, Pathways and Workforce (APW) branch brings together practical linkages between pre-accredited learning and pathways to further training and workforce. APW works as part of the skills eco-system, working closely with the branches in S&T group and the Victorian Skills Authority, DJSIR, and across State and Commonwealth Governments.
About You
To be successful in this role, you would need to have the following main skills and experience:
Partnering and Co-creation: Identifies and partners with users/stakeholders/experts to ensure active collaboration in the design process to understand user needs, obtain ideas, insights and input. Ensures decisions are made within agreed timeframes.
- Project Delivery: Defines tasks to be delivered to meet agreed outcomes; Coordinates and guides others in the execution of work activities; Monitors progress of tasks against plans and takes corrective action when required.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Takes steps to add value for the client or stakeholder; Links people with other areas as appropriate; Monitors client and stakeholder satisfaction; Constructively deals with stakeholder issues.
