About the role

As the Recovery Planning Coordinator, you will report directly to the Manager Fire and Emergency Recovery and coordinate all aspects of the state-wide recovery program. You will contribute to designing and implementing recovery resources that enable impact assessments, project planning and delivery, resource management and reporting in collaboration with operational teams. You will have the opportunity to perform a variety of tasks and work in all phases of the recovery lifecycle, from the initial response to completion.

We're looking for someone with:

  • A degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management and/or equivalent experience.
  • Sound ability to analyse issues, risk and opportunities to undertake problem solving and develop improved systems of work.
  • Knowledge and ability to develop and implement programs in a land management field, preferably with a focus on emergency recovery.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
