The Strategic Partnerships Branch is responsible for developing, managing and promoting Parks Victoria's partnerships at a high level locally, nationally and internationally in order to contribute to best practice in park management and facilitate learning and development of staff and ultimately achieve our vision: Parks Victoria is a world-class parks service ensuring healthy parks for healthy people.

About the role

As the Strategic Partnerships Coordinator you will be responsible for coordinating, maintaining and providing advice on strategic partnerships at the local, national and international level as well as managing, promoting and supporting sponsorship programs on behalf of Parks Victoria.

 You will play a critical role in providing advice and guidance to staff on the establishment and maintenance of strategic partnerships and incoming and outgoing sponsorship programs. More generally your role supports the branch's contribution to corporate directions and business planning, Government and departmental reporting, Ministerial correspondence and briefing, budget reconciliation and performance monitoring and reporting.

To be successful for this role you need:

  • Demonstrated extensive professional experience in developing and managing strategic partnerships and sponsorships both incoming and outgoing,
  • Proven experience managing partner and stakeholder consultation and strategy,
  • Tertiary qualification in relevant field is desirable.
