About the role

The Events Advisor plays a pivotal role in the coordination and delivery of SV events ensuring all events, or ones that SV partakes in, support the strategic plan and its outcomes to deliver value for the organisation.  You will work closely with SV teams to understand their needs and align them with SV's strategic priorities.

About you

You will bring your proven project management and communications skills, flair for digital and in-person events, and ability to work with diverse stakeholders and suppliers to a role that is crucial in assisting SV mobilise Victorians to create a better environment.

An effective problem solver you will be comfortable collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. A team player with the energy and drive to achieve in a fast-paced dynamic working environment with the ability to visualise “big picture” impact and translate into action while contributing to an inclusive and high-performing workplace culture.

Requirements and relevant information

  • In accordance with the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI) guidelines in relation to COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination (Workers) Directions you are required to be fully vaccinated and your employment with SV is subject to proof of vaccination. At 1 September 2022 this means:*

-          three doses for all employees 49 years and under

-          four doses for those aged 50+ years; and

-          optional fourth dose for those aged 30 – 49 years

*unless excepted
