Program Administrator, Tourism Infrastructure Programs

  • Salary: $100,894 - $114,476 (Plus Superannuation)
  • Fixed term role: until 30 June 2027
  • Usual hours of work: Full time (flexibility may be available)
  • Usual work location: 121 Exhibition Street, Melbourne (flexibility may be available)

The Role

We're looking for a highly organised, collaborative Program Administrator, Tourism Infrastructure Programs with demonstrated experience in investment programs and policy development in the tourism sector, strong analytical capabilities and a strong understanding of government processes.

Main accountabilities:

  • Supporting the preparation and coordination of high-quality advice and presentations on complex tourism issues and risks to the Minister, Secretary and senior leadership on matters relating to the government's tourism infrastructure programs and strategies.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders; providing expert advice on tourism infrastructure investment programs.
  • Supporting the identification, development and resolution of policy, procedural and financial issues in relation to grant programs.
  • Producing reports using GEMS to ensure funded tourism infrastructure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

The Team

The position of Program Administrator, Tourism Infrastructure Programs forms a part of the Professional Sport and Tourism Infrastructure branch within the Sport and Experience Economy group.

Sport and Experience Economy (SEE) Group delivers programs and initiatives to support positive experiences and a sense of belonging through sport, tourism, events and outdoor recreation – sectors that make Victoria a recognised leader from the grassroots level to the international stage and deliver significant economic, social and health benefits for the state.
