About the branch

The Regional Services Division is responsible for the service delivery of initiatives, programs and services. On-ground works and services will conserve environments, protect culture and heritage, manage visitor facilities and improve opportunities and support fire and emergency management. The Regional resources will support environmental, social and economic outcomes for rural, regional and urban communities.

About the role

As the Interpretation, Information and Education (II&E) Officer you will assist the Functional Coordinator (II&E) with programs that aim to connect visitors to parks through interpretive, information and educational experiences. Information and educational programs aim to motivate visits to parks by providing a range of contemporary interpretive and learning programs and experiences and provide enjoyable experiences that assist visitors and students to understand more about them and develop a deeper and stronger relationship with their environment.

To be successful for this role you will need;

  • Demonstrated experiences to self-manage
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Demonstrated experience in a customer service position is desirable
