About the role

This is an exciting and varied role that provides a high level of support to the Executive Director Marketing, Communications and Partnerships. As the first point of contact and liaison for staff and stakeholders, you will have a good understanding of what needs to be managed, and how to assist with prioritising requests. As a born organiser you will provide effective diary management and assist with daily administrative support, including preparing correspondence, meeting requests, presentations, travel bookings and following up to ensure the ED remains up to date with important issues.

Your responsibilities will include;

  • Providing a high degree of administrative support to the Executive Director
  • Liaising with key stakeholders internally and externally to arrange or disseminate documents or to book appointments.
  • Keep sound records and filing systems of all documentation and follow up systems

 

To be successful for this role:

Extensive experience providing high level support in a similar role at an Executive Director or Director level, with a certificate qualification in administration, though relevant experience is highly regarded. You have excellent interpersonal and liaison skills, and can handle multiple tasks, prioritise requirements, meet deadlines, and act calmly under pressure. You are proficient in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint, and can format information professionally.
