  • Lead a highly dedicated team and develop your land management skills
  • Work across the natural landscapes of the Brisbane Ranges National Park, Lerderderg State park, Long Forest Reserve and Werribee Gorge State Park

About the role

As the Ranger Team Leader Bacchus Marsh, you will manage a small team of Rangers and Field Officers in the Bacchus Marsh area. You will be responsible for the day to day management of the work centre and depot and your key stakeholders will include:

  • DEECA Ballarat and Bacchus Marsh
  • Emergency Services (Vic Po, SES, Ambulance Vic)
  • A number of Friends groups, Steiglitz Township area, Traditional Owners

We're looking for someone with:

  • Demonstrated experience in leading a small team
  • High level communication skills
  • Experience in working with stakeholders and community groups
  • Stakeholder engagement skills across a range of land management matters
