About the role
As the Regional Conservation Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in protecting the natural assets found within the Region. You will focus on the operational delivery of conservation projects in South West Victoria, with a particular focus on the Gariwerd (Grampians) landscape. You will be responsible for managing expenditure and resources allocated to projects, managing project staff, budgets and contractors. You will be implementing project plans, supervising contractors, monitoring environmental project progression, liaising will local and regional staff, reporting outputs and implementing these projects on time and within budget. This supportive team work collaboratively and implement biodiversity (pest plant and animal) projects to high standards with a focus on working together.
We're looking for someone with:
- Experience in the biodiversity/environmental/natural resource management sector
- Experience in project management and operational delivery of projects
- Demonstrated experience in engaging and managing stakeholders, contractors and staff
- Demonstrated experience in analytical problem solving
