Fixed-term 12-month, full-time position

Salary range: $106,534 to $117,716 per annum plus superannuation

Position overview

An exciting and challenging fixed term opportunity that will suit a Plumbing Technical Advisor who thrives in a dynamic, fast paced environment.

As the Senior Technical Advisor, you will be responsible for providing technical plumbing advice to a range of internal and external stakeholders, responding to issues and enquiries, developing documentation, reports and briefings, liaising with industry, supporting technical committees/boards and providing specialised technical services.

What we are looking for:

  • Licenced or registered for a class or classes of prescribed plumbing work under the Building Act 1993 (Victoria).
  • Knowledge of the plumbing regulatory framework including the Building Act, Plumbing Regulations and National Construction Code and other relevant legislation.
  • Experience providing  quality technical advice to a range of stakeholders, including the ability to build, maintain and negotiate  outcomes.
  • Ability to communicate information efficiently and effectively  to internal and external stakeholders over the phone, in person and in email.
  • Written communication skills with demonstrated ability to prepare technical reports.
