About the branch:

Parks Victoria is custodian of over four million hectares of parks, ports and waterways, and manages more than 45,000 built assets as well as many significant heritage, both post contact and indigenous, environmental, and intangible assets.  Infrastructure Operations Directorate sits within the Infrastructure and Information Technology Division of Parks Victoria. The Directorate provides asset management business leadership, built asset technical leadership and manages accommodation, fleet and supply of minor plant and equipment and associated services.

About the role and your responsibilities:

As the Change Manager for our Infrastructure Operations department, you will be responsible for supporting the business changes that will enable Parks Victoria to meet the Victorian Government's Asset Management Accountability Framework (AMAF), safeguarding alignment with ISO55001 and ensuring we maintain a proactive lifecycle asset management program.  You will be able to demonstrate excellent project management skills as this role will see you lead a range of large and often complex developments across all of Parks Victoria.  You will be a strong communicator, with the ability to engage with stakeholders in a clear and collaborative manner, conveying all necessary details effectively and providing a clear impression of any issues that arise.  As the Change Manager you will promote a culture of high performance, accountability and development – ensuring we continue to foster a positive working environment. 

 

To be successful for this role you will need:

  • Recognised accreditation in Change Management qualifications desirable but not essential
  • Extensive experience in facilitating wide change initiatives using PROSCI methodology
  • Demonstrated ability in building strong relationships and effectively managing competing objectives
