About the role:
Parks Victoria are looking for an experienced, strategiccally minded and innovative leader. In this role you will be leading the delivery of project and park management programs across Parks Victoria. You will be working with and managing a high performing team across a dispersed geographic area. The team delivers on a highly varied range of regional projects, that encompass areas including biodiversity conservation, fire and emergency management, compliance and enforcement, cultural heritage protection, and infrastructure and asset management.
We're looking for someone with:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in project management or equivalent.
- Experience within a Public Sector or Service environment desirable.
- Proven experience in coordinating the delivery of multiple technical projects.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with line managers, staff and key stakeholders across an organisation
- Demonstrated experience in managing contracts and agreements with varied third parties

About the Region:
The Melbourne Region consists of a diverse range of parks and reserves. Staff working within the Region are responsible for providing efficient and effective implementation of a broad range of often complex park management functions including natural, cultural and built asset management, visitor management and services, stakeholder management, park planning and emergency response.
