About the role:
Our Strategic Communications team are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Communications Advisor to focus on the development, implementation and evaluation of effective stakeholder engagement and communications strategies in line with Victoria Legal Aid's (VLA) strategic priorities.

You will write, edit and publish content for diverse channels such as websites, media releases, briefings, speeches and social media. You will work closely with the business and other teams in Strategic Communications to ensure the seamless integration of online communications, stakeholder engagement and design to promote VLA's services and public value.  

About you:
You will have qualifications or the equivalent experience in Communications, Digital Media, Public/Corporate Affairs and knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and content management systems. You will have experience and knowledge in developing, implementing and evaluating communication and stakeholder engagement strategies and campaigns in the not for profit, government and legal sectors.   

Crucial to your success in this role will be your highly developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to apply ‘plain language' across multiple target audiences, including staff communications. You will have the ability to build collaborative relationships, contribute to the success of the team and demonstrate a commitment to promoting VLA's vision and values.
