Position Details

Make a difference in this newly created position within the Quality and Patient Experience Division.  An opportunity has emerged to take a lead role on quality assurance with Ambulance Victoria (AV).  Be part of AV's commitment to deliver Best Care for every patient every time. 

About the role

Based in Blackburn North, this ongoing full time role reporting to the Director Clinical Governance and Performance, will:

  • Provide leadership and specialist expertise in developing effective clinical governance systems and risk management
  • Lead improvement and champion change
  • Develop and manage partnerships and build strong relationships within the organisation and external agencies
  • Enhance knowledge across the organisation by developing and conducting training for staff on the applications of audit
  • Manage resources, projects, changing and competing priorities and achieve individual and team goals.

About you

You will have a degree in a relevant discipline and experience in quality assurance and implementing or maintaining ISO9001:2015 and AS/NZS 4801:2001 preferably in a health service environment. In addition, you will be known for your excellent problem solving skills and your consistent approach towards business improvement and risk management. Using your collaborative working style and excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with different audiences, you will have the ability to influence, coach, build and foster relationships with stakeholders.
