Position Details
- Provide hands on leadership to a busy general store located in the pristine, Wilsons Promontory National Park.
- Manage an experienced and hard working team of core and seasonal staff.
- Choose to work full-time or part-time to create your ideal work-life balance.
- Bring your previous retail experience to help shape the store and identify new products for sale to meet our customer's needs.
About the role
The General Store Supervisor will work as part of a core leadership team to run the busiest general store and café on the Parks Victoria estate. The purpose of this role is to ensure that all customers are receiving a high level of service with retail items that meet their changing needs and expectations. The position will monitor work practices and with support from line management, ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures and help shape the future offering provided. They will demonstrate a strong personal work ethic for team members to follow and ensure that employees maintain a high standard of personal accountability and compliance with the Code of Conduct.
We're looking for someone with:
- Demonstrated experience in leadership, performance management and managing a team day to day in a retail or hospitality role.
- Demonstrated experience in a customer facing role.
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems with technical issues, staff issues and customer complaints.
