The Role

The Technical Specialist role is within the Identity Services team who are placed in the Infrastructure Services division. Reporting into the Team Lead, you will be responsible for the delivering both internal business projects as well as customer funded projects centred around integration between Identity Systems and downstream cloud and on-premise applications and services that enable the staff of the Victorian Government which is managed by Cenitex.

An important part of this role will be to lead, support & collaborate with the team to develop new services, improve existing services, develop & create new connectors that allows for automated integration and services to help our customers' needs with evolving technologies within the Identity landscape.

To be successful in this role, you must have one or more of the following:

  • Microfocus NETIQ IDM (connector & integration development) using the following: Microfocus Driver Development Skills, Specifically DirXML Scripting, LDAP, XSL, XSLT, JavaScript, REST/SOAP API, Designer IDE.

Additional skills that will also be an advantage are:

  • Java, Tomcat, PowerShell, Bash Script.
  • Microsoft Azure / Office365 / MFA, vIDM (VMware), AWS and other cloud services
  • Ability to communicate ideas and contribute to service improvement solutions to peers, other Cenitex groups and customers when required.
  • Good understanding, experience, and knowledge of federation software such as ADFS, vIDM (VMware) and Tivoli Access or Federation tools (now ISAM)
  • Written and verbal communications skills and ability to brief non-technical staff.
  • Scripting and automation skills to solve problems, repetitive tasks and increase efficiencies
