About the role:
As the Project Officer - Aboriginal Cultural Heritage, you will be responsible for coordinating the priority rock art conservation works across the National Heritage Listed Gariwerd. This includes assisting in the delivery, planning and resource management in accordance with Parks Victoria's policies, procedures and objectives.
You will develop relationships across the region and the Managing Country Together Directorate within Parks Victoria, and with external partners including Traditional Owner Groups and Aboriginal Victoria. Your position will clearly and concisely communicate functional objectives, delivery plans, and delivery milestones.
We're looking for someone with:
- Customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with Traditional Owner groups
- Ability to nurture and develop stakeholder relationships
